With a new track coming up, TIM MCGRAW just kicked off a new era in full swing — PAWN SHOP GUITAR. Hinting his signature country music energies coming back to life once more, the “Live Like You Were Dying” hitmaker is bound to impress. With seventeen records and scoring 12/15 No. 1 entries on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, it’s a given that he’s one of the most celebrated country music artists in the world.

Inviting a set of special guests to join him across the 33-date run, this night in Syracuse will see 49 Winchester open the show at Lakeview Amphitheater. As the sun goes down, get ready to rock along these heart-pounding country tunes.

This trek follows his 2024 “Standing Room Only” tour, where he shared infectious grooves, heartfelt tracks, and jaw-dropping surprises with a career-spanning setlist where he packed his very best. While the tour was cut short so he could focus on his health, the man is back, ready to conquer the stage as he brings out the Pawn Shop Guitar energy. 

THE MAN’S JOURNEY INTO COUNTRY DOMINATION

Back when he was in college, McGraw learned the guitar and often performed for money. He later on moved with his mother to Jacksonville, Florida and sat in with a couple of local bands in the area. In 1999 when his music hero Keith Whitley died. McGraw made the decision to quit school, head to Nashville, and start a career in music. 

His 1994 sophomore LP “Not a Moment Too Soon” was a commercial success, becoming the best-selling country album of the year. His single “Don't Take the Girl” marked his first #1 entry on the U.S. country charts, and peaked at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100. From then on, he spawned chart-topping albums, hit singles, and marked his domination in country music. Some of his biggest hits include “Live Like You Were Dying,” “It's Your Love,” “Something Like That,” and more.
